Time for entrepreneurship with words. Entrepreneurship is something that is in the DNA of Mondragon Team Academy. What exercises have been carried out at the Bilbao Berrikuntza Faktoria during the two weeks of Euskaraldia?

The first thing is to stop and do a little analysis. In the Bilbao laboratory we can find a great linguistic diversity related to Basque: there are people who were born outside Euskal Herria, who were born here but have never learned Basque, who have learned it but have forgotten it, who speak Basque in everyday life but then speak Spanish or English in the BBF,....

In spite of this, the first exercise has been a reflection and a dialogue. Including the team of team coaches in different LEINN companies, we reflected on the Basque language in the weekly training sessions. In this link you can see what the answers have been. Some of them related it to school and the obligatory nature of the language. Others, on the other hand, have had their first encounter with Spanish when they came to live in Bilbao. In Euskal Herria they listen with affection to the Basque language being able to sing different songs. There is also a utilitarian vision, because does Basque really open or close doors? That was one of the questions that were discussed. For some it is really an opportunity to be themselves. Basque makes me. A corner of taste and confidence is another of the reflections that took place.

During these two weeks, in the laboratory of Bilbao, different End of Degree works have been presented. Here is the opportunity to meet the graduating LEINNers. We had the opportunity to listen to the presentation of one of them in Basque. Iker García de Vicuña mentions that one of the studies he has had in his process has been the Basque language itself. It has been a great challenge for him. Here are some of his words: So far I have learned Basque because I need it, mainly academically. Now in the Baleuko company I have learned more naturally from the experience and the day-to-day work in the Gookapi project. This has led me to relate in a different way with those around me. It is clear to me that I will not forget it,

Euskaraldia Finally, on December 2 we had the Euskaraldia game. Elena Carriedo (BBF Inhabitant and Change Agent) and 3 LEINN companies participated: Legit, Stamm and Riven. After a first reflection, the groups answered 18 questions about Basque culture. Zorionak eta eskerrik asko Gorka, Eneko, Endika, Lander, Mikele, Nahia eta Nekane. And of course thanks to the Dock bar, thanks to you it has also been possible to carry out this action.
